the YMCA Institute of Training and Education offers Children's Services qualifications in the sectors of Early Years Education, Family Day Care and Outside School Hours Care. These courses are designed for candidates who are passionate about children's early learning and development.  

Our delivery methods focus on building a strong foundation knowledge and extensive practical experience in the field. The flexible delivery methods allow candidates to access resources and assessment materials online 24/7, while receiving site visits and support from our experienced Training Advisors.

Fee For Service is specifically for self funded learners and is open to anyone who wishes to enrol in a certification

QUALIFICATIONS

CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care 

This qualification is ideal for individuals looking to launch a career within the childhood education and care industry or for those already in the industry and are looking to gain formal qualifications.

Course Fees

Fee for Service: $3275 (plus $160 for books and other resources) 
RPL Fee for Service: $1800

additional requirements: 
Students MUST complete a minimum of 120 hours of documented practical work in a regulated Early Childhood Education and care (ECEC) centre that includes babies/toddlers (0-2 years)

 

CHC40113 Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care 

This qualification enables individuals to work as an educator for school age children in outside school hours care and vacation care programs.

Course Fees

Fee for Service: $3435 (plus $240 for books and other resources) 
RPL Fee for Service: $1800

additional requirements: 
Students MUST complete a minimum of 120 hours of documented practical work in a regulated Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service

 

CHC50113 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care 

This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. Roles may also require the supervision of other staff members and volunteers.

Course Fees

Fee for Service: $5000  (plus $320 for books and other resources) 
RPL Fee for Service: $2500

additional requirements: 
Students MUST complete a minimum of 240 hours of documented practical work in a regulated ECEC with all age groups (0-2 years - 120 hours) + (3-5 years - 120 hours)
